The Innocent Man
Just got around to reading John Grisham’s, The Innocent Man, a 2006 work of non-fiction addressing the injustice of being labeled guilty until proven innocent. It’s an intense and disturbing read. An aside I honed in on in the book is the importance of having someone stand by you in the worst possible scenario. The support of the families given to the wrongfully accused was absolutely amazing. If you have a “books-I-must-read-during-my-lifetime” list OR if injustice simply infuriates you, pick up a copy…or borrow mine.
